Stratford Software is currently seeking self-motivated candidates for our Technical Support Team. You can now be part of the growing Stratford Software
team! The pioneering leader of Healthcare EDI and management software. In business since 1977.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help-desk - software support assistance and training via email and telephone and fax

  • Software testing / quality assurance

  • This is not a sales job, however you are required to describe our software to potential customers.

  • Hours: M-F, 8-5 PDT - No overtime - no holidays - no weekend hours. Flex hours may be possible.

  • Location: San Mateo, CA 94402 a few miles from the San Francisco International airport. A few miles from the Millbrae BART station. Many nearby restaurants. Perfect weather.

  • Stratford Software provides a friendly working environment.

  • Additional pay possible for training new customers after hours/weekends by phone or onsite.


We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:

  • Your 'people skills' are much more important than your technical expertise

  • Experience with healthcare billing software not required but is a plus and will put you at the top of the list

  • Experience with EDI not required but is a plus

  • Experience in the troubleshooting and installation of Windows based software

  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette with the ability to communicate with non-technical people

  • Positive and energetic personality

  • Excellent multitasking capabilities

  • Problem solving and deductive reasoning skills

  • You should be comfortable assisting customers via e-mail and over the phone to make sure their questions and technical problems are fully resolved.

  • Our customers are people who work in healthcare offices and clinics and healthcare billing services.

  • Team players only please

  • Ability to speak English clearly is required.
