If you do not have a pre-paid maintenance agreement direct with Stratford Software, Inc. that is current now, you may not legally download software from this site. You may not use software that someone else downloads from this site. If you do, you will be violating the Stratford copyright as well as US and international intellectual property laws and treaties. Be aware that software from this site is coded with the account numbers of those customers who have a pre-paid maintenance agreement. This software will not function properly unless the coding matches your Stratford account number. Stratford is not responsible for any resulting loss of data that may occur related to the improper use of this software.

You will be asked for your id and password. Note that the passwords will only work one time. The passwords are changed periodically, so if your password does not work or you have trouble, please contact Stratford support at: support@stratfordsoftware.com.

Please read these notes before downloading. This will save you some time with the installation (and confusion we hope)

1. What you will download is a self extracting EXE file. We recommend you select "open" instead of "save" when you download - it will greatly simplify the installation. If you get a warning about a certificate, just answer 'yes' to the question.
2. You will be prompted to extract these files into a temporary directory such as: c:\temp\dos or c:\temp\ssi - we recommend you use the default.
3. After the files are extracted, please wait... The setup process will begin after a few seconds. Go through the steps and report any problems to Stratford support.
4. This software and all future software contain an End User License Agreement (EULA - a legal form of software license agreement used by many software publishers in the United States of America) which you must accept prior to installation. Please read it. It fully defines your rights. If you do not read it or if you do not agree to it, you must not use the software.

NOTICES

1. The temp directory mentioned above will contain all the files that you would receive on a CD from Stratford. In other words, you will have exactly what you need to make a Stratford installation CD. Just copy all the contents of that temp directory to the root of a CD. The CD can then be used to install the Stratford program on another computer.

2. That temp directory can also be used as a network installation point. If you can access that temp directory from another workstation on your network, just click on setup.exe and the installation will begin on that attached workstation. If you are creating a multi-user, networked system, be sure the installation location for all workstations is the single computer which you want to use as a server. Sorry if this is not clear; we are well aware that setting up a multi-user networked software package is not trivial and not everyone may be capable of doing it without help.
