2011 User meeting

April 30, 2011, Saturday at the Las Vegas, NV Mandalay Bay hotel. Everything will be the same as our last meetings at the Mandalay Bay hotel.  The meeting room is in the convention center. See the specific room location below in red type.

Stratford user meetings are informal.

We have lots of time for questions.

Anything that is of interest to a healthcare professional, billing service, etc may be scheduled:

  1. ICD10 (we can demonstrate our automatic code conversion and assistance utilities)

  2. v5010 requirement (we can demonstrate the ability to go back and forth from 4010 <> 5010 without re-demanding claims.

  3. Conversion from dos to the windows version and related questions.

  4. If you have something that you definitely want to discuss, send us an email now so we can plan for it.

Our users help us plan our meetings. Have you written to us? support@stratfordsoftware.com

Our meetings are open to our users and (sometimes) to our potential users by invitation only.

We will discuss and answer questions about our Windows-compiled program, billing issues and whatever you want to discuss. We may even talk about HIPAA issues as they may relate to Stratford Software and you.

Please bring your laptop...   We will have wifi available so you can access the Internet

Please RSVP by April 22, 2011 so we can make final arrangements for the room.

1. Cost is $199 per attendee.

2. Accounts with a 'continuous' software maintenance agreement for at least one year (or continuously since becoming a client) only: there is a discounted fee: $98 per attendee from that account.

Here is a form you can fax.

You will have an opportunity to meet with Stratford support and programming personnel. You will have an opportunity to ask questions. You will learn some new things about Stratford Software.

We will demonstrate how to change your present v4010 transmission to v5010 (and then back to v4010 if you want) with no change in patient data entry. In fact, you will not even need to re-demand your claims.

We will demonstrate the conversion of ICD9 to ICD10. The software can do the conversion at the time of transmission so you can have both ICD9 and ICD10 codes in your patient database and transmit the correct version that each payer requires for TEST CLAIMS ONLY PRIOR TO 10/1/2015.

We can also show the appointment scheduler, EMR (Electronic Medical Record), and Allergy screens and anything else you would like to see.

We recommend that you bring your laptop. If you have a question about your account or the software, we can look at it with you. We will have Wi-Fi internet access available for everyone.

Schedule for the meeting:

Saturday - April 30, 2011
8:30am - 9:30 - continental breakfast, registration, etc (we will be setting up equipment)
9:30am - 12:30 pm  - meeting

We will be in the 'Explorers Boardroom' on the 3rd floor of the South conference building.

Go toward the Shark exhibit. When you get to the small food court on the right, turn right, up the ramp. The elevator is on your right and the escalators are on your left.

Follow the signs to the 'Boardrooms' on the 3rd floor.

This can change at the last minute so be sure to check the meeting displays.

We recommend arriving sometime Friday and stay at least 2 nights. Did you know that airline tickets are usually less expensive if you have a Saturday between arrival and departure?

The Mandalay Bay hotel is at the South end of 'the strip' not far from the airport.

Check with the hotel http://www.mandalaybay.com/ for room rates. Sometimes they have a promo for a suite at a very reasonable price. 'The Hotel' and the 'Four Seasons' hotel are both located in the Mandalay Bay complex.

There is a 'Fry's Electronics' a little farther South on Las Vegas Blvd if you forget something for your laptop or other electronic equipment. There is a very large outlet mall a little farther South on Las Vegas Blvd. There is a Whole Foods located in 'Town Square' about a mile South of the Mandalay Bay next to Fry's Electronics. This Whole Foods has a great selection - the largest of any Whole Foods we have seen. Town Square has almost every major store brand you have ever seen. Any stores that are not there will be found in the 'Fashion Show' indoor mall about 3 miles North across from the Venetian and Wynn hotels.

You can enjoy the Las Vegas sights. Las Vegas is a big city with lots to do. Bring your comfortable clothes and walking shoes.

Las Vegas has 21 of the 28 largest hotels in the world within 3 miles of the Mandalay Bay hotel. It is a long walk from the main hotel and casino to the convention center. The Mandalay Bay convention center is a very large complex. The Mandalay Bay hotel is the world's 4th largest hotel with 4,341 rooms. The Luxor (next door) is the world's 3rd largest hotel with 4,408 rooms and the MGM Grand (across the street) is the world's 2nd largest hotel with 5,690 rooms. Everything is inside and air conditioned. The weather in Las Vegas is great in April.

From the Mandalay Bay hotel you can walk North to the Luxor and Excalibur hotel in a covered walkway. NewYork-NewYork and MGM Grand are not far. Also, the Monte Carlo and tram through the new City Center are just North of the NewYork-NewYork hotel.
